Electric Visual 2010 range

by Phil on 18th January 2010

The crew over at Electric Visual continue to crank out the goods when it comes to fresh styles and new graphics. The EG-1 MX goggle is proving to be a classic frame but a fresh makeover helps them stand out from the crowd for 2010.

The EG-1 has been my favourite goggle for a few years now, with good fit, triple foam the clean lines, giving essential eye protection that performs well with lots of helmets and isn't prone to fogging.

2010 is no different and I've been checking out some of my favourite designs on the classic EG-1 frame.

Coming from a snowboard background, it's no surprise that the plain goggle range is backed up with a range of colours, from fairly subtle to pretty noticeable!

Top to bottom below, you can see the Comic Strip, Missile Yellow and signature model from pro snowboarder Andreas Wiig. The missile yellow feature an unusual matt frame while the Wiig has embossed logos on the strap which stand out a bit more.

The EG-1 frame is good for snow or DH/moto use, the only difference is the lens. Team them up with pair of double lenses (tinted and low light) for carving up the slopes or pop in a clear single lens with tear off posts for the ripping up dirt.

DH goggles come with the clear lens / tear off posts and a storage bag that doubles as a cleaning cloth.
